OTHER PFA NEWS
The PFA is selling Pizza Hut Cards to raise money for playground equipment. The cards sell for $10.00 - of which $6.00 stays with the school. When you buy 1 large specialty pizza you receive 1 medium/1 topping pizza for free. This works out to 12 medium pizzas for $10.00. If you are interested, please send your money in an envelope marked "PIZZA HUT CARD" and the quantity that you would like to purchase. Your cards will be sent home with one of your children within 2-3 days. THESE CARDS MAKE GREAT GIFTS! Thanks for supporting the teachers and your kids!
DOMINOS PIZZA: If your student gets pizza please check the amount you paid for the month of April. The date was marked on the order form but there was no box to check which kind you wanted. Some people marked it and others didn't. Please call Jenny Carpenter to make certain your child will have pizza on April 29th. Her number is 455-1550.

You may download an application in pdf format here . Completed applications must be postmarked by April 18th and if hand delivered, we must have them no later than 4:00 p.m. on April 22nd. Applications received after April 22nd will be placed into the pool for the following year. All prospective kindergarten – 8th grade students will be given the opportunity to enroll in the public charter school, regardless of race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion, gender, social/economic status, or special needs. Your child currently enrolled in Vision Charter School will automatically receive a spot at VCS for the next school year 2008-2009 unless you send something in writing letting us know your child will not be returning Informacion:Loteria de Inscripcion en Espanol.

It IS Rocket Science!
Vision Charter is looking for parents who would be interested in being participants on the VCS Science Committee. You will be working with Mrs. OldenKamp in putting together our Science Fair and fine-tuning our science curriculum over the remainder of the year and the summer. Please contact the office if you are willing to be a part of this exciting program and watch for more information in the newsletter regarding the upcoming Science Fair.
