Finals Week in Mrs. Mitchell's Classes...I know, ugh!

Due to a long Christmas break and only two four-day weeks left in the quarter, all semester finals will have to be this Wednesday and Thursday.  English 10 and 11 just finished projects or papers so they just have a grammar final, and I will try to pass out the study guides for those Monday during advisory.  Physical Science is due for a large test over all the material we've covered second quarter (including some review from quarter one).  They have a packet on Motion and Forces which is due Wednesday before they take their exam.  If they finish it in its entiret

This week feels like a perfect storm!  Three nights of performances, final essays and projects, Christmas fever!  So I have made the following adjustments to my expectations for our students.

English 10:  Due Friday

Vocabulary Review and a SUMMARY of their final project.  They may have the break to make their final project beautiful.

English 11:  Due Friday

Vocabulary Review and finish grammar packet.  We will continue to peer edit their essays to be due after break.

Animal Farm Final Projects

English 10 students have a final project due Friday, December 16th.  They are to complete projects individually and should not need to meet with groups.  The project choices are attached to this post.
