Scheffler Blog - Reading Journals

All Classes!
I will be checking reading journals on Wednesday for “A” days and Thursday for “B” days. Make sure your journals are brought to class on those days. This is an easy assignment and is worth a lot of points so make sure you fill out a good one every day!

CWI Spring Registration

All of my students in US History and Western Civ. will have the opportunity to earn three more college credits by signing up for the spring courses. A representative of CWI will be here on February 9th to give out forms and answer questions. Let me know if you have any questions!

Extra Credit! Scheffler's Class

All of my students can earn extra credit tonight by watching the President's State of the Union address. To claim the extra credit the student will have to write one paragraph summarizing what was said and write one paragraph detailing their own thoughts. Let me know if you have any questions!

Welcome to 2ndsemester!

Western Civ:

This semester we will be starting with the Renaissance and will try to move all the way to the modern day. Early topics will include the Renaissance, the Reformation, and the Scientific Revolution.
