A-day English Students!!! 

YOUR FINAL PROJECTS ARE DUE AT THE BEGINNING OF CLASS THURSDAY!  No exceptions.  There will not be any class time to work on them. 

B-day Engish Students!!!

YOUR FINAL PROJECTS ARE DUE AT THE BEGINNING OF CLASS ON FRIDAY!  No exceptions.  There will not be any class time to work on them.

Your May Reading Logs are due on Friday as well.

Mr. B's Monday Update! (5/14)

English Students!  Your final projects are due this week. 

"A-day" English: Your projects are due at the beginning of class on Thursday.

"B-day" English: Your projects are due at the beginning of class on Friday.

There will not be any time to work on them, in class, on your presentation day. 

 

P.E. -  We will be continuing our Basketball or Lacrosse units for a few more days.  We will have a variety of activities the last week.

English:

ALL ENGLISH STUDENTS!

Your Shakespeare final projects have been assigned and you should already be working on them. Remember that "A day" classes have their presentations due on Thursday the 17th and my "B day" class has their presentations due on Friday the 18th.  All projects will be presented to the class, even if it is a written project.

2B English- Today, we finished reading Othello, in class, reading Act 5 Scenes 1-2.  Your project work day is Tuesday the 15th.

Attention English Students!

You will have an Othello Final Project assignment.  It involves your choice of activities.  Some are performance-based and some are writing-based.  I am giving you options to choose from.  Your projects must be completed by the following presentation dates:

1A,2A,3A English - Thursday, May 17th and Monday, May 21 (If needed)

2B English - Friday, May 18th and Tuesday, May 22 (if needed)

Mr. B's Monday Update! (5/7)

English:

1A & 2A - They read Othello, Act 3, Scene 3, in class and worked on 5 questions.  They were assigned Act 3, Scene 4 to read as homework.  They also have 3 questions to answer about that scene. That must be done before class on Thursday.

3A - They read most of Act 3, Scene 3, in class last week, so today, they finished it up.  They worked on the questions, in groups, read Act 3, Scene 4 and have the three questions to answer about that scene.  If they did not finish in class, it must be done before class on Thursday.

English Students! 

If you are in 1A or 2A, you have to read Othello, Act 3, Scenes 1-2 before class on Monday.  If your group didn't finish Act 2, Scene 3, you need to finish that first.  Your students have copies of the scenes or they told me they would access the script via the internet at

English 3A has no homework to read.

Mr. B's English HOMEWORK! (ALL CLASSES) (5/2)

1A,2A,3A ENGLISH-

You are to read Othello, Act 3, Scene 1-2 as homework, before class on MONDAY.  We will begin Act 3, Scene 3 in class on Monday.          ***Most 8th grade students will not have read Act 2 until Thursday in class, due to ISATs today. They still must do the homework by Monday.

2B ENGLISH-

8th Grade has Math ISATs tomorrow!  Do your best! Take Your Time!

7th Grade has Math ISATs Thursday!  Do your best! Take Your Time!

 

English - (2B) Has Act 3, Scene 1-2 to read, as homework, before class on Friday.

PE - (1B) Students have their basketball rule sheets and their quiz is next Wednesday.

PE - (4th period) Students have their basketball and lacrosse rule sheets.  Their quiz is next Tuesday.

ALL ENGLISH CLASSES!!!  Your April reading log is due!

URGENT REMINDER!!!

7th grade English students have their Language ISAT on Monday morning.  Please help them get some good rest on Sunday night and good nutrition that morning.

Mr. B's Thursday update! (4/26)

It has been an exemplary week of ISAT testing.  Both grades 7 & 8 have done very, very well.

IMPORTANT REMINDER!!!  Next Monday (4/30), 7th grade students will take their Language Usage ISAT.
