Flapper! Cast List

READ THIS BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD THE CAST LIST PLEASE

Well, ladies and gentlemen, you did your best to make this as difficult as possible for me.  Let me say that I was very impressed with this round of auditions and how much improvement you have shown as a whole group since the beginning of the year.  To our new folks, welcome!  We've thrown you into the fire, and I hope we haven't overwhelmed you.  I firmly believe this is going to be a fantastic show.  I could have cast this about 5 different ways, and I agonized over which way would be the best.  Every person in this cast and class is important and vital to this production.  Please remember the conversation we had before auditions about accepting your role and putting your whole self into whatever part you have received.  There will probably be more disappointed people than ecstatic people, and I ask you to be respectful of each other's feelings.  Part of the reason this is always so difficult for me is that I care so deeply about each and every one of you.  I wish I could just give everyone exactly what you want, but that is not the nature of theatre.  The progress being made and watching the way you cheered each other on during auditions already has me excited for this production, next year, and the years to come.  Thank you for making my job fun.  Congratulations to you all!  Tomorrow will be a read through of the script from start to finish with each person reading their assigned character.  See you tomorrow when we can really get this show going!
