Inside your child's RED folder is a sticker with his/her username and password pasted to the inside of the folder. Please login often and do some math problems. All the information is sent to m e and I can print out certificates for our class as our number of math problems grow! So far we have completed 500 math questions as a grade level! Great job! Please consider IXL for 5 to 10 minutes of nightly homework. It will make a big difference!
If your child hasn't brought their RED folder to school lately they do not have a sticker with his/her IXL information on it. Please send it to school each day.
Also, please remember to record the number of minutes you and your child have been reading each day onto the September calendar. If you do not have a calendar please let me know.
Homework starts today! Hurray! It shouldn't bee too much but it helps children prepare for the responsibilities they will have in school and also refreshes any new information learned on that day. It will come home in the RED folder and is due back on Friday morning.
I hope to see everyone on Thursday during our Open House. It runs every half an hour from 5 until 7 pm. You can attend any of the sessions. They are 5:00 to 5:30 pm, 5:30 to 6:00pm, 6:00 to 6:30 pm and finally from 6:30-7:00 pm,
