First of all, I would like to say that I love it here at Vision Charter School. I have taught in various settings including public and private education and I believe that Vision Charter School takes the best in education and focuses on what is important in the lives of students and their families. I received my B.A. from Northwest Nazarene University (NNU) in 2001. I currently working on a Masters degree in Science Education through Montana State University. My teaching areas are primarily in Biological Sciences, Physical Education, and Health. Over the last nine years I can honestly say I have taught a little bit of everything. After graduating from NNU, I taught science and coached in Ontario, Oregon. After a year in Ontario, I took a position to be the 7th & 8th grade teacher at Calvary Chapel Academy in Boise. I was also a full time youth minister in addition to my teaching duties at the Academy. I was at Calvary Chapel Academy for 3 years before accepting a position with the Homedale School District. While with Homedale, I taught science, some math, and coached football and basketball at the High School. I was at Homedale for 3 years. This will be my third year at Vision and I love it. I have been married for 14 years (married after my freshman year in college) to my beautiful wife Janelle. Janelle is also a teacher, she teaches 3rd grade at Notus elementary. I have two amazing daughters Hannah who is going into fourth grade this year, and Abigail who will start second grade this year. My family and I live in Notus with our 2 dogs and we love it! I think this year is going to be amazing and I am truly blessed to be a part of the wonderful things going on at Vision! Contact Mr. George
