High School and Middle School Supply List

All students will be using the Core organization system this year and are required to purchase spiral notebooks with holes that fit neatly into a three-ring binder. The spiral notebooks will need to be replaced as they are filled. In addition, all students need to have a 3” three ring binder and a set of Avery double pocket, notebook dividers.

General Supply List

·         One 3” 3-Ring Binder

·         1 pack #2 pencils

·         1 pack eraser tops

·         4 glue sticks

·         1 pack blue pens

·         1 pack black pens

·         1 pack red pens

·         Thin tip markers

·         1 box tissues

·         1 thumb drive

·         Supplies for projects as needed

Optional:

$20 activity card fee for student socials

Pre-Algebra, General Math, and Principles of Algebra and Geometry:

·         4 spiral notebooks

·         1 pack graph paper

·         1 pack blank index cards

·         Ruler

·         Scientific calculator

Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, General Applied Math

·         1 spiral notebook

Optional and encouraged for Pre-Calc and Alg 2, but not mandatory:

·         T182 Graphing Calculator (only calculator allowed to be used on the SAT/ACT tests!)  

All History, Social Studies Classes:

·         2 spiral notebooks

Middle School Sciences, Biology, A&P:

·         2 spiral notebooks

·         2 boxes modeling clay

·         $15 lab fee per science class taken

All English Courses:

·         2 spiral notebooks

 Physical Science or Chemistry:

·         2 spiral notebooks

·         Scientific calculator(Do not purchase if you already own a graphic calculator)

Student Government:

·         1 folder

Art:

·         Black three ringed binder ½ or 1 inch

·         1 plain light colored T-Shirt

·         1 shoe box or small cardboard box

·         2 water containers: recycled yogurt, margarine containers, etc.

·         5 grocery bags

·         $20 fee per art course taken

Optional:

·         1 large sponge for clean-up

·         Apron, scrubs, old large button up shirt-for school clothes protection

·         Old magazines for collages

·         Pencil bag or pouch for storage of drawing tools

Spanish:

·         2 packs of blank index cards

·         1 pack of colored construction paper

·         Black marker

Optional:

·         Spanish to English Dictionary- highly recommended

·         Post-it notes any color

Symphony:

·         Instrument and all necessary maintenance equipment

·         Music-sized folder

·         Music stand

Beginning Band and Orchestra:

·         Please do not get anything before school starts and we have a chance to interview about the instrument the student will play. All students will be responsible for their instruments, a method book (around $7), a music sized folder, #2 pencils, and a music stand.

3rd period Guitar:

·         Guitar (no amps please)

·         Music stand

·         Spiral notebook

·         “Mastering the Guitar” by Mike Christiansen, 7-12 grade version

·         Variety of recordings will be permitted throughout the year in MP3, ipod, or CD format or on YouTube

4th period Guitar:

·         Capo

·         Tuner

·         Guitar with strap

·         12 guitar picks

·         Spiral notebook

·         DO NOT BUY A STAND OR BOOK.

Musical Theatre:

·         Spiral Notebook

·         Folder

·         Water Bottle (kind with straws preferred; this is not mandatory but highly recommended)

6-8 Choir:

·         Folder  

·         Water Bottle (kind with straws preferred; this is not mandatory but highly recommended)

*Students involved in more than one instrumental class only need one music stand and one music folder to hold everything.

ADDITIONAL ELECTIVES:
Your child needs a minimum of one spiral notebook for each elective they are enrolled in not listed above.
