New Spelling Words and Phonograms will come home with your child Tuesday for the next week’s words.  The Math Study Guide for this Thursday’s Math Test was sent home last Tuesday.  Since we didn’t have school on last Thursday, we will take that Math Test this Thursday.

Keep up to date on your child’s grades by signing in to the Parent Portal. I will keep grades up to date on this site, and message you if your child receives a grade less than 70%.  In the event that you lose or forget your Infinite Campus log on information please contact Amy Bowers at amybowers@visioncsd.org

FUN THINGS HAPPENING AT OUR SCHOOL!

FREE FAMILY COUNTRY WESTERN VALENTINE’S DAY DANCE:

Bring your family, extended family, and friends out Monday, February 12th for a great evening. Swing and Line dance lessons for all ages will run from 5 – 6PM. The Dance and lessons are totally free! Dinner and refreshments will be available from 5- 7PM and will be the only items for sale at the event. We are excited to showcase our very own High School Rock Band Class performing live Country Music and DJ’ing for the event.

SCHOOL CLOSURES/ SNOW DAYS:

IN THE EVENT OF SCHOOL CLOSURE OR LATE START: We will send school closure or late start information through our automated emergency contact program. This is the FASTEST WAY to be notified about school closures or late starts. Sign up for how you want to be contacted in an emergency through the parent portal. If you have not yet set this up, please contact Mrs. Bowers at amybowers@visioncsd.org for directions on setting up your parent portal account.  We will also send out information via this newsletter and Vision Charter facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/VisionCharter/. Updates will also be sent to KTVB channel 7 and KBOI channel 2.

In the event of a one hour late start, all stops will be exactly one hour later. In the event of a two hour late start, all bus stops will be exactly two hours later. In the event of a late start students will have a shortened schedule; however, they will still attend all of their regular classes and the end of the day release time and bus stops times will remain the same.

******Your child brought home a Snow Day packet before Christmas break.   I will email parents the work expectations IF we have any snow days.  Please put this packet in a safe place where your child can find it if necessary.
