November 11 newsletter, plus chaperones for Tuesday's field trip

Dear Students and Parents,
Yesterday, I sent home information regarding the field trip we are taking next Tuesday. Please return this as soon as possible. Because we will not be returning back to school until after are usual scheduled lunch, please make sure your child eats a big breakfast before school. There will be no time before we leave for snacks, we are scheduled for our vision and hearing screening on the same day at 8:15. By the time we finish, it will be time for us to load up on the buses. Those of you who order hot lunches, your child will still get their lunch when we get back.
Chaperones for field trip: Rebecca Myers, Rhonda Quinn, Jan Godfrey, and David Haskell. Please be at the school by 8:45. If you cannot make it, let me know.
I sent home the November reading calendar yesterday with your child. Sorry for the delay.
Book orders can be purchased until the 18th of this month. If you want to order books for Christmas, email or call me and I will put them aside for you to pick up at a later time.
Food Drive: If you can, please send in any canned food to help those in need.
Math tests will not be given every week. We are doing a lot of practice and reviewing as well as relearning some of the material your child may be struggling on. I will always let you know when the next test will be given. I do give assessments throughout the week to help me know what skills your child may be struggling with.
I would like to do a Christmas book exchange in class this year. If you could please bring in a wrapped children’s book marked boy or girl and from ______and then your child’s name by December 14th that would be great. They do not have to be new, as long as they are not written on or tore and in good condition. If for any reason you cannot participate in this, let me know and I will take care of it for you
