Reading:I am sending home Spelling List #10 today so your child can begin studying. The test will be taken Thursday, November 10th.

Starting last month, every reading log returned is worth a free personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut. November calendars are in folders today.
Math:We have been working on two digit addition in math with one carry to the tens place. (43+ 17=60) Please review your student’s practice page in his/her folder today to see if your child needs some extra practice at home with this concept. We have also been working with fact families, measuring with centimeters, and telling time to “quarter after.”
Science: We finally did our science experiment with a salt cracker in lemon juice to demonstrate how digestion works. Ask your student all about it! We have already started our unit on seasons.
Art: So far this year we have learned about line, horizon line, color, space and perspective. The kids are noticing these elements in the art we see in class. I love it!
Please send a 3-ring binder to school for your student’s Memory Book. We have quite a few things we need to get in there.
