Welcome Back!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas break with your families.
Your 3rd graders are working hard to become great 4th graders. It is important to keep reading and practicing math skills at home to help them progress. The Reading Log should have come home yesterday (Tuesday) and the IXL Calendar should come home today (Wednesday).
We will try our hand at cursive writing again beginning next week. There are still some issues with neatness with some students, but we will continue to practice manuscript along with cursive.
Our next Center Day will be Thursday, January 26th. I will need plenty of volunteers! The times are 8:30 to 9:50; 10:15 – 10:30 and 11:30 to 12:30. Come for part of the time or the whole morning, whatever works for you. Your students love to have you visit our class and I appreciate your help!
As the weather continues to get colder, please be sure your child is dressed appropriately. All students are expected to go outside for recesses and P.E., and it gets very cold in a hurry!
