I am so excited to be back at Vision this year. My family and I thought we would not be able to share another year with you due to a relocation for my Husband. Lucky for us, we are still here!! I have been an Educational Assistant for several years at several schools, but Vision is my "home". I have worked at East Canyon, Birch, Thomas Jefferson Charter and here. I have discovered a real passion for education and truly enjoy working with our kids. It is so fulfilling to see the light come on when they learn something new. It is so fun to be able to celebrate their successes with them daily.
My educational background and most of my professional experience is in marketing and business. I attended Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. I was on the Dean's List for 3 of my years there. I grew up in the Military and lived in many fascinating places in the world. My family collected traditions and friends at every duty station. We still enjoy many of them in my family today. My hobbies include sewing/crafts, cooking and gardening. I served an LDS mission to Osaka Japan and still speak a little bit of Japanese. I also still enjoy food and crafts from Japan. I am blessed with an awesome husband and four great kids. Our oldest is Nathan who is married and lives in Chile with his wife Carol. The second oldest is Alison who lives in Utah and attends Utah State University majoring in education. Gabbie and Mickie are our 13 year old twins who attend VCS in the 8th grade.
