I am so fortunate to be able to be a part of this great school. The staff at Vision are incredible teachers, and the positive environment they have created is wonderful for students!
I received an undergraduate degree in English from the University of Colorado at Boulder and intended on going on to complete a teaching program there but was sidetracked by a career in business. After six years with a large distribution company, I resigned my position as Director of Operations and went back to school to finish my coursework for my elementary education certificate. I have since taught for the Vallivue School District for seven years, six being in special education and one as a kindergarten teacher. I finished my MA in Education (Exceptional Child) from NNU in 2005.
My goal as a teacher is to make sure all my students are learning at their top potential, while recognizing the diverse learning styles of all. I live in Nampa with my husband and two daughters. When I’m not in the classroom or taking classes of my own, I enjoy riding and showing my horses, cooking, and hanging out with my kids!
