How does the lottery system work?
- It is a random drawing, done in tiers. The first tier we pull from is for founding family students. The next tier is siblings of existing students. After that we pull names from families that are within our attendance boundary area. The last tier we pull from is all families that are outside our attendance boundary area.
- After the lottery is complete all students who applied for enrollment will be mailed a letter to either accept their spot at VCS or notifying them of where they fall on the waitlist.
