DATES TO KNOW:
Dual Credit and College Pathways April 15th in the Aux Gym at 7PM:
Has your student mentioned taking dual credit classes? Curious about what they will do with those credits? This informational session will help guide parents and students through the process of utilizing the advanced opportunities funds available through the state of Idaho to help further their higher education. At Vision, students have the opportunity to earn an AA, AC, or certificate through CWI using their advanced opportunities funds or AO funds. Come learn about the available degrees and certificate pathways that are available. This meeting is applicable to all incoming and current high school parents and students who are curious about these options available. We will be discussing what AO funds can be used for and look at the most commonly asked about programs.
ELEMENTARY PARENT MATH NIGHT:
Monday, April 7th from 6:30 to 7:30 pm in Mrs. Martindale's room #118.
SIBLINGS OF ENROLLED STUDENTS - SUBMIT APPLICATION FOR LOTTERY:
Please see the Lottery announcement below. You will need to fill out an application for the lottery if you have a younger child coming into Kindergarten this upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Apply HERE. Applications are due Friday, April 4, 2025, at 4PM.
CONGRATULATIONS TO MR. GEORGE!
Mr. Jason George received the SHAPE Idaho PE Teacher of the Year Award today at the SHAPE Idaho awards ceremony! Vision Charter is so proud to have Mr. George teach Dual Credit CrossFit, DC Weightlifting, DC Health, DC NNU Biology 2200, and coach Boys Varsity Basketball. A quote from a Class of 2023 graduate encapsulates the profound impact he has had on students, "Thanks for what you've done for me and hundreds of other students. Crossfit might be the best thing I got to do at Vision. In the broadest sense, you teach kids how to apply themselves to difficult tasks without underestimating themselves or the task at hand. I'll be using those skills for the rest of my life."
