OPEN CAMPUS
(JUNIORS AND SENIORS ONLY)
Open Campus is a privilege available to high school juniors and seniors in good standing. Open Campus is an incentive based program aimed to encourage increased student achievement while offering a learning environment that provides student freedom with respect and responsibility.
Students with Open Campus privileges may leave campus when they do not have a class or other academic obligation. Students must follow the Open Campus Procedures (Policy No 529P).
Parents will assume the responsibility of their child during their time off campus. Students are to conduct themselves as good citizens and comply with the student code of conduct when off campus.
Open Campus is a privilege available to high school juniors and seniors meeting the following requirements:

Students with Open Campus privileges may leave campus when they do not have a class or other academic obligation. Students must follow the Open Campus Procedures (Policy No 529P).

Open Campus is a privilege available to high school juniors and seniors meeting the following requirements:
- Must have a minimum of a 2.0 GPA
- No in or out of school suspensions in the previous semester
- Parent permission slip signed
Reasons Open Campus will be revoked (NOT limited to these examples):
- Late to third period more than 3 times in a semester
- Three or more unexcused absences from third period in the current semester
- Drug/alcohol/tobacco use off campus during lunch
- Reckless, careless, or potentially dangerous driving on school grounds or adjacent to school grounds
- Any discipline referral will immediately cause Open Campus privileges to be revoked for the remainder of the semester and the following semester.
- Grades in all classes must not drop below a C on any progress report during the semester. Privileges will be revoked until all grades are at or above a C
- Receiving a final grade of D- or F in any class in the preceding semester
**The revocation of Open Campus privileges is at the sole discretion of school Administration and is not subject to appeal or reconsideration. To be considered for Open Campus privileges , a student must follow the procedures in Policy No 529F1.**
