Our Story: The Journey of Vision Charter School

It is my joy to share with you the inspiring journey of Vision Charter School.

A group of dedicated parents worked tirelessly for three years to bring their vision to life — the vision of a school that would offer families a choice: a school that would challenge students academically, prioritize the arts and sciences, develop character and leadership skills, provide music education, and offer opportunities to learn a second language — all while holding students to high academic and behavioral standards.

In August of 2007, that dream became a reality when Vision Charter School opened its doors to 230 students in grades K–7. We added a grade level each year for the next five years and began doubling our enrollment in the fall of 2013. That same fall, we opened our middle and high school building. In 2018, our elementary students moved out of portables and into beautiful new classrooms. In the fall of 2020, we celebrated the opening of our new gymnasium facility, which also houses a CrossFit room and our STREAM Lab. Beginning in the fall of 2025, we are proud to host our largest senior class to date.

We remain committed to our purpose: to create well-educated, respectful citizen leaders through a K–12 college-preparatory education focused on science and the arts.

The faculty and staff of Vision Charter School are dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of our students while upholding the mission, vision, and core values of our school.

We strive to remove barriers so that every child can pursue their dreams and get a jump start on their future. For some, that may mean graduating high school with their first year of college completed, earning an associate degree, gaining a CTE certification, completing an internship, or earning an Honors or STEM diploma.
At Vision Charter School, the future starts now.

Warm Regards,
